A community contributor reverse-engineered GitHub's new (undocumented) Actions cache API and submitted a pull request enabling the tool to work again as of v0.1.5. Key limitations remain: caching is scoped to a single workflow in a single repository and performance is not on par with a dedicated Nix binary cache. The approach relies on reverse-engineered Protobuf definitions, so the API could break at any time.
