Now, AI agents can interact with websites and computer interfaces to help complete real tasks. Browser and Computer Use Agents are designed to see what is happening on a screen, understand the goal, decide the next step, and take action. The basic process is simple: Goal → See → Decide → Act → Check First, the agent receives a goal from the user. It then looks at the available information on the screen and understands what needs to happen next. After that, it decides which action is suitable. It can continue taking actions and checking the results until the task reaches the required point. For example, imagine you tell an AI agent, “Find a flight.” The agent can open a browser, search for flights, read the available results, select an option, and check whether the correct information has appeared. A Browser Agent mainly works inside websites and browsers. It can interact with pages, buttons, forms, links, search boxes, and other browser elements. A Computer Use Agent goes one step further. It can interact with a computer interface more like a person using a mouse and keyboard. This means AI is becoming more action focused. Instead of only telling you how to perform a task, an AI agent can potentially perform parts of that task through the available interface while following instructions and checking its progress. This is an important change in how we think about AI. The shift is moving from: “Give me the answer.” to “Help me complete the task.” Browser and Computer Use Agents are an important part of this shift because they connect AI reasoning with actions inside the digital tools people already use.
