Build intelligent Android apps: Introduction to Jetpacker

Google introduces Jetpacker, an open-source Android demo app built for Google I/O that showcases how to integrate GenAI features across on-device, cloud, and hybrid inference approaches. The app covers three on-device features using Gemini Nano via ML Kit GenAI APIs (trip summarization, receipt-based expense tracking, audio diary), three cloud/hybrid features using Firebase AI Logic (place Q&A with web grounding, review drafting, real-time chat translation), and a forthcoming agentic booking assistant built with A2UI and ADK.
