With GPU and RAM prices inflated, an all-AMD build around the Ryzen 5 7600X and RX 9070 XT offers the best value for a $1,500–$1,600 gaming PC. The Ryzen 5 7600X at $147 remains the top gaming CPU pick despite Zen 5 being a minimal upgrade, while the RX 9070 XT at $650 outperforms Nvidia's RTX 5070 by ~25% at a similar price. Choosing AM5 over AM4 adds ~$200 but keeps upgrade paths open for future X3D processors.
