The project is live and open source, with planned features including performance monitoring, alerts, source maps, and session replay. ## Content A few months ago I found myself thinking: _“Why do I keep jumping between different tools just to understand what’s happening in production?”_ I wanted one place where I could see errors, custom events and user sessions, and I wanted it to be open source. So I started building it. At first it was just an excuse to experiment with SDKs and dashboard design. I wasn’t planning to turn it into a real project, but I kept adding “just one more feature.” Eventually it became **Telemetry Tracker**. Today it has SDKs for React, Next.js, Vue, Nuxt, React Native, Node.js and NestJS. It supports organizations, projects, API keys, error tracking, event tracking and session monitoring, and everything is written in TypeScript. One thing that surprised me wasn’t the coding. It was everything around it. Writing documentation. Deploying it. Designing a landing page. Figuring out authentication. Thinking about pricing. Creating screenshots. Setting up GitHub. Trying to explain the project in one sentence. Building software is one thing. Building something that other people can actually use is a completely different challenge. The project is still far from finished. I have a long list of things I’d like to build next—performance monitoring, alerts, source maps and session replay are probably at the top. But I realized I’d rather put it in front of real developers now than spend another six months polishing it in isolation. If you’re curious, feel free to take a look.
