The RCN aims to connect industry professionals, Rust Project members, and commercial users to share best practices, develop adoption playbooks, and channel real-world feedback back to the Rust Project. A Network Services Working Group has already held its first meeting with participation from AWS, Microsoft, JetBrains, F5, and Databricks. The inaugural Steering Committee includes representatives from AWS, Canonical, JetBrains, and the Rust Project itself. Membership is free, meetings operate under the Chatham House Rule on Google Meet, and async discussion happens on the Rust Project Zulip.
