The Rails Foundation is looking for two people to be MCs at Rails World this year, and we think that some of the best candidates are already doing the job every month in Ruby communities around the world…

Rails' platform is a central hub for Ruby on Rails developers, offering insights into web application development, MVC architecture, and Ruby programming. Through articles, tutorials, and community forums, Rails offers insights into building scalable and maintainable web applications with Ruby on Rails framework. Developers can learn about RESTful routing, ActiveRecord ORM, and front-end integration to create robust and feature-rich web applications.

The Rails Foundation is inviting Ruby User Group (RUG) organizers worldwide to apply to be MCs at Rails World 2026 in Austin. Applicants should be comfortable presenting in front of crowds and passionate about the Ruby community. Hotel accommodations are covered, and selected MCs will work with the production team in preparation sessions before the event. The application deadline is July 19.
