Capcom has reported unprecedented success in its software sales for the nine months ending December 2025, achieving a record 34.64 million units sold. This marks a 13.5% increase compared to the previous year, with significant contributions from key franchises and strategic multimedia expansions.

The growth has been notably driven by Capcom's catalog titles, with 'Street Fighter 6' reaching an impressive 6 million units following its release on the Switch 2. Meanwhile, titles such as 'Resident Evil 4', 'Resident Evil Village', and 'Monster Hunter Rise' have continued to perform strongly, reinforcing their status as staple offerings in Capcom's lineup.

In addition to software sales, Capcom's transmedia initiatives have played an important role in boosting the visibility and recognition of its franchises. The adaptation of 'Devil May Cry' on Netflix, alongside the mobile game 'Resident Evil Survival Unit'—which racked up 3 million downloads—have contributed to the increased franchise engagement.

Financially, Capcom reported a notable increase in its financial metrics. The company's operating income rose by 75.1% to $352.6 million, while net sales surged 29.8% to reach $748.8 million. Their Digital Contents segment alone accounted for 73.4 billion yen in net sales and 46 billion yen in operating profit. Moreover, the amusement equipment segment experienced a 73.5% increase in net sales.

Overall, Capcom's strategic focus on leveraging its popular franchises and diversifying through multimedia adaptations have paid off, resulting in record-breaking sales and financial performance.
