Cisco has announced a refreshed CCNA version 2.0 blueprint, set to go live on February 3rd, 2027. The update is the most significant overhaul since 2020, developed with seven times more contributors than previous blueprints, including internal Cisco staff, partners, four-digit CCIEs, and NetAcad instructors. The primary goal is to align the certification with real-world job functions performed by entry-level network engineers, emphasizing job-readiness from day one. The early announcement (May 2025) is intended to give current CCNA 1.1 candidates time to finish their existing path or prepare for the new exam.
