Cerebras unveils its next generation waferscale AI chip, which offers double the performance of the previous generation while consuming the same amount of power. The chip contains 4 trillion transistors and is used in a new generation of AI computers capable of 8 exaflops. Cerebras has also entered into a partnership with Qualcomm to boost the price and performance of AI inference.
