A walkthrough of three Arazzo workflows written against the Oracle Health (Cerner Millennium) FHIR R4 API. The workflows cover the SMART on FHIR patient data retrieval sequence (CapabilityStatement fetch, patient search, then clinical resource pulls), a conformance discovery flow, and a clinical resource write-back flow. The author argues that encoding the SMART on FHIR pattern as a portable Arazzo artifact enables cross-vendor comparison and makes healthcare API governance more tractable, rather than having every integrator re-implement the pattern from documentation.
