Red Hat Developer Lightspeed on Red Hat Developer Hub now offers personal AI notebooks (developer preview), a RAG-powered feature that lets developers upload project documents and chat with them in an isolated, context-aware workspace. Each notebook uses a vector database to store document embeddings, provides source transparency with clickable citations, and keeps notebooks private per user. Administrators can enable the feature via a simple Helm values.yaml configuration. The goal is to eliminate time wasted hunting through dense documentation by turning static files into an interactive conversation grounded strictly in uploaded content.
