HP, Dell, Asus, and Acer are reportedly evaluating or partnering with Chinese suppliers. While Korean chipmakers focus on HBM4 leadership, over half their DRAM capacity remains in general-purpose products, creating vulnerability. CXMT is also converting 20% of its capacity to HBM3 production, with mass production expected next year.
