Cisco AI Defense and Armada announced a partnership to secure distributed AI workloads running outside hyperscale clouds—in sovereign clouds, private AI factories, industrial sites, and edge environments. Armada provides infrastructure (Bridge GPU management, Galleon modular data centers, Marketplace) while Cisco AI Defense adds AI red teaming (Adaptive Red-Teaming) and runtime guardrails against prompt injection, jailbreaks, data exposure, and agentic/tool misuse. The goal is consistent governance and data locality without routing sensitive AI traffic back to centralized inspection points, letting GPU operators offer protected AI services rather than raw compute.
