# Claude in Microsoft Foundry is now generally available

**[Claude](https://daily.dev/sources/claude)** · 2 min read · 0 upvotes · 0 comments

## Summary

Claude models (Opus 4.8 and Haiku 4.5) are now generally available in Microsoft Foundry, hosted on Azure. The integration is Azure-native, supporting existing Azure identity, networking, billing, and governance controls. Teams can choose between hosting on Azure (with US data zone support) or on Anthropic's infrastructure. Eligible customers with a Microsoft Enterprise Agreement can draw down Azure commitments for Claude usage. Core API features like prompt caching and extended thinking are supported.
