Claude handles planning, verification, journaling, and commits, while Codex handles implementation. The workflow caught three bugs the author missed — a missing dependency, a timing issue, and an undefined term — and used stub modules to enforce dry-run safety. The orchestration also survived an accidental bad prompt thanks to persistent journaling.
