# Close the Gap Between Kubernetes Visibility and Enforcement with Orca’s Admission Controller

**[Orca Security Blog](https://daily.dev/sources/orca-security-blog)** · 7 min read · 0 upvotes · 0 comments

## Summary

Orca Security has launched an Admission Controller that bridges the gap between Kubernetes risk visibility and policy enforcement. Unlike standalone tools like OPA/Gatekeeper or Kyverno, Orca's controller is managed entirely within the Orca platform, allowing security context (CVEs, misconfigurations, cluster exposure) to directly inform what gets blocked at admission time. It supports block and warn modes for gradual rollout, ships with 12 built-in control templates across five categories (access control, image security, pod security, governance, and app health), and feeds all enforcement events back into Orca's unified event stream for audit and compliance visibility.
