Distributed systems are becoming more prevalent and essential due to the increasing number of endpoints. Cloud architecture is ill-suited to manage the sheer number of endpoints, but distributed architecture overcomes these challenges by embedding infrastructure capabilities within microservices. Examples of organizations using Akka's distributed application architecture include HP, Renault Group, and Tubi.
