GitHub is rolling out AI-powered automatic code coverage setup in its Code Quality settings. Users can now trigger an AI agent from the Code Quality settings page that generates a pull request with a coverage workflow tailored to their repository. The workflow handles building code, running tests, generating a coverage report, and uploading it to GitHub with least-privilege permissions. The feature is in public preview for GitHub Enterprise Cloud and Team users on github.com.
