Cybercriminals have developed custom malware that routes command-and-control traffic through Microsoft Teams, disguising malicious communications as legitimate corporate collaboration activity. This technique makes it significantly harder for security tools to detect and block the malicious traffic, as it blends in with normal enterprise Microsoft 365 usage.
