The network merges quantum key distribution and conventional communication channels into a single architecture, using a Huawei router with built-in QKD said to cut operator TCO by over 60%. CTM plans quantum-secured private lines for enterprise and government clients, with both companies aiming to expand quantum security deployments across the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area, aligning with China's 15th Five-Year Plan quantum strategy. ## Full article daily.dev links to this article rather than hosting it.
