CUDA-Oxide 0.2 has been released, the second update to NVIDIA's experimental Rust-to-CUDA compiler. Built with contributions from 23 contributors across 37 pull requests, this version makes Rust GPU programs self-contained executables, adds new capabilities for CUDA kernels, improves kernel trustworthiness, enhances interoperability with CUDA Tile, and better aligns with upstream LLVM. The compiler allows writing CUDA GPU kernels in pure Rust, emitting NVIDIA PTX output directly.
