Daon has introduced a Quantum Identity architecture backed by five issued U.S. patents, designed to address the trustworthiness of biometric and authentication evidence in future identity systems — not just cryptographic protection. The five patents cover foundational morphing attack detection, quantum morphing attack detection, quantum identity verification, quantum liveness, and quantum injection and replay resistance. The modular framework is built to work with classical systems today and evolve toward hybrid classical-quantum approaches as quantum hardware matures. Target markets include financial services, healthcare, public sector, and telecommunications. Daon clarifies this is not a claim that production quantum biometric infrastructure is ready now, but rather a patent-backed architecture establishing a roadmap toward quantum-ready digital identity.
