ClickHouse and Datadog have announced a partnership enabling organizations to route logs directly to ClickHouse via Datadog Observability Pipelines and search those logs from the Datadog Log Explorer using federated search. This removes the traditional tradeoff between full-fidelity telemetry retention and accessible tooling. Logs stay in ClickHouse for cost-efficient long-term storage while engineers continue using Datadog's familiar investigation interface. The integration supports OpenTelemetry-compatible schemas and is currently available in private preview.
