Debezium 3.6.0.Beta2 has been released with 51 issues resolved. Key additions include MySQL GTID tags support for MySQL 8.3+, a new unified Debezium CLI for managing CDC pipelines, and Spanner UUID data type support. The Quarkus Extensions gain column change filtering for both single and batch event capturing, a CDI-exposed lifecycle API for manual engine start/stop, preserved event ordering in batch processing, and multi-engine heartbeat and multi-connector support. MySQL and MariaDB connectors now support customizable zero-date fallback sentinel values per temporal type. The Platform Helm Chart adds optional OpenTelemetry Collector and Prometheus deployment, and the Apicurio Registry dependency is upgraded to 3.2.5. CockroachDB gets a new option to split changefeeds across tables for performance isolation. Notable bug fixes include a credential leakage in logs, Spanner memory leak, incremental snapshot resume after restart, and event deduplication collision across schemas.
