Debian -- News -- Updated Debian 12: 12.15 released

Debian 12 (bookworm) receives its fifteenth and final point release, 12.15, marking the end of support from the Debian Release Team, Security Team, and Backports. Key highlights include an update to fwupd 2.0.20 to handle the expiry of the 2013 UEFI Secure Boot CA — users are strongly advised to apply OEM CA, KEK, and DBX updates to avoid boot failures with Secure Boot enabled. The geoip-database package has been reverted to a December 2019 snapshot due to licensing incompatibility with Debian Free Software Guidelines. The release also bundles numerous bug fixes and security updates across packages including apache2, curl, mariadb, python-django, qemu, rsync, and many others.
