No code changes are needed for default routing, but developers can explicitly prioritize Azure using the `order` option in the AI SDK's gateway provider options. Existing Azure credentials can be used via BYOK. Vercel AI Gateway offers a unified API with usage tracking, cost monitoring, retries, failover, and Zero Data Retention support, with no platform fee on inference.
