Django 6.1 release candidate 1 is now available, marking the string freeze and calling for translators to submit translations. If no major bugs are found, Django 6.1 final is expected to release on or around August 5. Developers are encouraged to test the RC and report bugs via the issue tracker. The package is available on the Django downloads page and PyPI.
