Redpanda Connect has launched a visual drag-and-drop composer (currently in preview) for building data pipelines without writing YAML directly. The canvas lets users wire inputs, processors, and outputs as nodes, supporting conditional routing, try/catch error handling, enrichment, and caching — all generating valid YAML underneath. Bloblang V2, also in preview, redesigns the mapping language with stricter types, autocomplete, live validation, and an automated V1→V2 migration path. New connectors include an SAP HANA input with bulk/incremental/query modes, a BigQuery Write API output using Google's Storage Write API for higher throughput, and CDC semantics (insert/upsert/delete) in the Iceberg output. The post also positions the tool against n8n (not built for high-throughput streaming) and Fivetran (per-row pricing that scales poorly with event volume).
