DumboDB, DoltHub's version-controlled NoSQL database designed as a MongoDB drop-in replacement, added anonymous usage telemetry in release v0.3.6. The telemetry collects only a hashed machine ID, app name, version, and OS platform. It fires on server startup and every 24 hours as a heartbeat. The feature is on by default but can be disabled via the --no-metrics flag or the DUMBODB_NO_METRICS=1 environment variable. DoltHub is transparent about the collection and encourages users to try DumboDB and provide feedback.
