# Dynatrace MCP Server for Atlassian Rovo: Investigate production problems without leaving Jira or JSM

## Summary

Dynatrace has launched an MCP Server integration for Atlassian Rovo, enabling developers and on-call engineers to investigate production issues directly within Jira or Jira Service Management without switching tools. The Rovo agent uses plain-language queries to call Dynatrace tools, retrieving open problems, root causes, topology data, and related signals, then posts results as comments in the Jira workspace. Setup takes minutes via the Rovo admin UI, is pre-approved by Atlassian, and is included with Dynatrace SaaS at no extra cost. Security is enforced per-user via OAuth 2.1, admins control which tools are exposed, and full audit trails are maintained on both platforms.
