Key additions include raising on U+2028/U+2029 characters in comments and strings to prevent line spoofing attacks, Unicode 17.0.0 support in String, a new `--name-pattern` option for `mix test`, `:regex` type support in OptionParser, and a `__escape__/1` callback for Macro. Bug fixes address an infinite loop in Enum.take/2, race conditions in mix compile, and ExUnit assertion improvements.
