# eSOL Brings Game Engine Visualization to Industrial Embedded Development

**[Embedded.com](https://daily.dev/sources/embedded-com)** · 7 min read · 0 upvotes · 0 comments

## Summary

eSOL has launched eXRP (eSOL XrossReality Platform), an industrial-grade real-time 3D engine built on the open-source Godot game engine. It targets fragmented engineering workflows in automotive, robotics, and manufacturing by unifying simulation, visualization, and HMI into a continuous loop. eXRP integrates with ROS 2 for bidirectional data flow between virtual environments and control logic, enabling earlier validation of path planning, obstacle avoidance, and fleet behavior without full physical prototypes. The platform explicitly does not replace deterministic control stacks — safety-critical tasks remain in eSOL's eMCOS RTOS — but acts as a visualization and interaction layer around them. Industrial system integration uses loosely coupled APIs and OPC UA middleware to bridge game engine frame loops with asynchronous industrial data protocols.
