A hobbyist project called ESP32-Plane-Radar uses an ESP32-C3 Super Mini microcontroller and a circular GC9A01 LCD to display nearby aircraft in a radar-style interface. Rather than using actual radio hardware, it fetches crowdsourced ADS-B flight data from adsb.fi over WiFi. The compact build includes a 3D-printed enclosure and a web-based configuration interface, making it accessible for others to replicate.
