Key highlights include SLA-backed CVE remediation (critical CVEs patched within 7 days), optional FIPS-compliant builds, signed packages with cryptographic provenance, and full cache coverage via FlakeHub Cache. The covered package set has grown past 10,000 packages. Three distributions are now available: rolling, rolling-fips, and 25.11, with 26.05 coming soon. Determinate Systems is also building its own platform (FlakeHub, Determinate Nix) against Secure Packages for SOC 2 Type II and FedRAMP compliance.
