Finnish startup Quanscient has raised €10M in a Series A round led by Danish quantum fund 55 North and Austrian industrial investor B&C Group. Founded in 2021 in Tampere, the company builds a cloud-based multiphysics simulation platform for hardware engineers designing motors, antennas, and fusion magnets. The platform claims simulations up to 100x faster than incumbent tools and is positioned as the data engine for AI-driven hardware design. The funding will support international expansion and development of what Quanscient calls the market's first platform unifying simulation, quantum algorithms, and AI. The company employs 40 people and serves Fortune 100 manufacturers across Europe, North America, and Japan.
