Firefox is easier than ever to customize

Mozilla has redesigned Firefox's settings experience to make options easier to find, understand, and manage. The overhaul features a cleaner layout, modern visual design, improved labels and descriptions, and updated navigation that groups related categories together. Notably, the long-standing 'General' page has been retired, with its options redistributed into more specific sections like 'Appearance,' 'Accessibility,' 'Languages,' and 'Tabs and browsing.' Existing user preferences remain unchanged. The redesign was informed by user research including interviews, usability testing, card-sorting exercises, and community feedback from Mozilla Connect and Reddit.
