The root cause is that the AppHost project uses a special SDK reference at the top of the .csproj file (e.g., `Sdk="Aspire.AppHost.Sdk/x.x.x"`) that is separate from PackageReference items and is not updated by NuGet tooling. The DCP version check validates against this SDK version, not the NuGet package version.
