Flipper has announced the BUSY Bar, an open-source productivity multitool designed to reduce distractions at work. It features a 6.35-inch RGB LED matrix display (72×16), a 1.54-inch monochrome OLED back display, and is powered by an STM32U5 Cortex-M33 microcontroller with a Silicon Labs SiWG917 handling Wi-Fi 6 and Bluetooth LE 5.4 connectivity. The device supports the Matter protocol for integration with Home Assistant, Apple Home, and Google Home. It syncs with work apps, mutes notifications, and includes Google Calendar integration, a Pomodoro-style timer, and a customizable display. A mobile app (Android/iOS), desktop app (macOS), and web interface are available, along with Python and TypeScript libraries. Priced at $179 for waitlist members, rising to $249 after the July 14 launch.
