Fortior Technology has launched the FU75xx dual-core motor control MCU family, combining a 32-bit RISC-V core running at 48 MHz with a proprietary 2nd-generation Motor Engine (ME2) core. The RISC-V core handles parameter configuration and routine processing, while the ME2 core integrates FOC and CORDIC modules enabling fast FOC calculations (as quick as 5µs) for sensored/sensorless BLDC/PMSM motors. The family targets industrial servo drives, robotic joints, smart home appliances, and EV systems. Nine SKUs are available with varying drive types, I/O counts, and packages. The chips include extensive peripherals: multiple ADC channels, DACs, op-amps, comparators, CAN FD, LIN, BiSS interface, and PFC support. The family was discovered via Banana Pi's upcoming BPI-BJ2403N servo motor controller based on the FU7512L SKU, with datasheet and C source code available on GitHub.
