The agent can also infer layout and design rules directly from the canvas as you design, addressing the recurring problem of AI tools losing context between sessions. ## Content Framer has released Skills for its built-in agent. A Skill is a saved set of instructions covering how you work, such as your design system, your writing style, or your CMS workflow. The agent applies them instead of making you repeat the same prompt every time. Framer's example is a /design-system skill. Once it's saved, new pages reuse the same styles and components, so they look like they belong on the rest of the site. Andy Orsow put the pitch simply: prompts aren't always enough, which is why Framer has Skills. Benjamin Nathan described a second route. You start designing on the canvas, and the agent infers your layout and design rules from what you've made, then keeps iterating from there. ## Other updates in the release Framer's announcement lists several other changes: - Building in 3D with the Framer Agent - New AI models in the Framer Agent - A CMS List Field The announcement lists more items, but the full list isn't available. ## A related idea: feedback loops @andreban made a point that fits here.
