They support AAC, SBC and LDAC codecs, and the case supports wireless charging. They get 3 hours of playback from just 10 minutes in the case. They're IPX6 rated and open-ear, so you hear your surroundings but get no noise cancelling. The companion app is clunky, requires login and internet for some settings, and the case isn't compatible with older SoundPEATS cases. Launch price is about £75 / €80, with a 10% discount code valid until 30th November 2026. ## Full article daily.dev links to this article rather than hosting it. Ten minutes in the charging case gives about 3 hours of playback. The case itself recharges via USB-C and also supports wireless charging, so it can be topped up on any charging puck. The headphones are rated IPX6, suitable for wearing in rain but not for swimming. _Comparing quick-charge specs across earbuds gets easier when you track reviews like this on daily.dev._ ### Do SoundPEATS CC3 Pro open-ear headphones block outside noise? No, they do not block outside noise or offer active noise cancelling, since they are open-ear clip-on headphones designed to let you hear your surroundings. There is a privacy mode that adds an EQ filter to reduce sound leakage to others, though it makes the sound slightly murkier. They support AAC, SBC, and LDAC codecs. _Weighing open-ear versus noise-cancelling tradeoffs is simpler with hands-on gadget reviews surfaced on daily.dev._ ### Are SoundPEATS CC3 Pro headphones compatible with the older SoundPEATS Clip1 charging case? No, the CC3 Pro headphones are incompatible with previous SoundPeats cases, even though they charge in either slot within their own case. This creates a risk of not finding a cheap replacement case for this smaller manufacturer's product if the original is lost or damaged. _Checking accessory compatibility before buying is easier when reviews like this surface on daily.dev._ ## Similar posts on daily.dev - [Gadget Review: Soundpeats POP Clip2 Earphones](https://daily.dev/posts/gadget-review-soundpeats-pop-clip2-earphones-rzmghremk) · Terence Eden · 0 upvotes · 0 comments - [The Beats 360 are lighter, cheaper, and way more comfortable than Apple's AirPods Max](https://daily.dev/posts/the-beats-360-are-lighter-cheaper-and-way-more-comfortable-than-apple-s-airpods-max-m5atuqvjo) · XDA Developers · 0 upvotes · 0 comments - [Apple unveils AirPods 5 with improved active noise cancellation](https://daily.dev/posts/apple-unveils-airpods-5-with-improved-active-noise-cancellation-7mbkh6cmq) · TechCrunch · 0 upvotes · 0 comments - [Google’s fantastic Pixel Buds Pro 2 are down to $169](https://daily.dev/posts/google-s-fantastic-pixel-buds-pro-2-are-down-to-169-o2weddcic) · The Verge · 0 upvotes · 0 comments - [One of the top headphones you can buy just dropped to a price that's hard to pass up](https://daily.dev/posts/one-of-the-top-headphones-you-can-buy-just-dropped-to-a-price-that-s-hard-to-pass-up-oekwmvbhj) · XDA Developers · 2 upvotes · 1 comments --- Tags: [#tech-news](https://daily.dev/tags/tech-news) [View this post on daily.dev](https://daily.dev/posts/gadget-review-soundpeats-cc3-pro-bluetooth-headphones-jq53rfj76) ```json {"@context":"https://schema.org","@graph":[{"@type":"Organization","@id":"https://daily.dev/#organization","name":"daily.dev","url":"https://daily.dev","logo":{"@type":"ImageObject","url":"https://daily.dev/apple-touch-icon.png","width":180,"height":180},"sameAs":["https://twitter.com/dailydotdev","https://github.com/dailydotdev","https://www.linkedin.com/company/daily-dev-ltd"]},{"@type":"WebSite","@id":"https://daily.dev/#website","url":"https://daily.dev","name":"daily.dev","publisher":{"@id":"https://daily.dev/#organization"},"potentialAction":{"@type":"SearchAction","target":{"@type":"EntryPoint","urlTemplate":"https://daily.dev/search?q={search_term_string}"},"query-input":"required name=search_term_string"}}]} {"@context":"https://schema.org","@type":"TechArticle","headline":"Gadget Review: SoundPEATS CC3 Pro Bluetooth Headphones","url":"https://daily.dev/posts/gadget-review-soundpeats-cc3-pro-bluetooth-headphones-jq53rfj76","mainEntityOfPage":{"@type":"WebPage","@id":"https://daily.dev/posts/gadget-review-soundpeats-cc3-pro-bluetooth-headphones-jq53rfj76"},"datePublished":"2026-10-28T12:39:29.556Z","dateModified":"2026-10-28T15:04:33.533Z","description":"The SoundPEATS CC3 Pro clip-on headphones are extremely comfortable and stay on even during vigorous head shaking.
