Garnix, a hosted CI/CD service for Nix/NixOS projects, is shutting down its hosted service on July 15th, 2026. The team is joining Shopify as part of this transition. To ease the migration, the garnix codebase is being open-sourced, allowing users to self-host or set up shared community instances. All user data and build artifacts will be deleted on July 15th, so users should download anything they want to keep before that date.
