General Intuition, a New York startup that spun out of gaming clip platform Medal eight months ago with a $134M seed round, is now in talks to raise $300M at a ~$2B valuation. Backers include Jeff Bezos, Eric Schmidt, Khosla Ventures, and General Catalyst. The company trains embodied AI and world models using Medal's dataset of 2 billion gaming videos per year from 10 million monthly active users, enabling AI to learn spatial-temporal reasoning from first-person interactive gameplay. Unlike competitors such as Runway, Decart, and World Labs, General Intuition builds world models to train agents rather than selling the models themselves. The new funds will be used to scale compute and ship a new product by late summer or early fall.
