# GitHub Copilot individual plans: Introducing flex allotments in Pro and Pro+, and a new Max plan

## Summary

GitHub is updating its individual Copilot plans starting June 1, 2026. Pro and Pro+ plans will include a new 'flex allotment' on top of base credits, effectively increasing total included usage at no extra cost. Pro goes from $10 to $15 worth of usage, Pro+ from $39 to $70, and a new Max plan at $100/month offers $200 in total usage. Base credits are fixed 1:1 with subscription price, while flex allotments may change over time as AI model economics evolve. Code completions and next edit suggestions remain unlimited on paid plans. Existing monthly subscribers are migrated automatically on June 1.
