GitHub is retiring GitHub Models, its AI model playground and API service. As a first step, new organizations and enterprises can no longer access it on any plan. Existing customers with active usage are unaffected for now, with more details and timelines to follow. Azure AI Foundry is suggested as an alternative for new projects needing AI model access.
