Key highlights include variable refresh rate and fractional scaling graduating from experimental to stable features in Mutter, significant improvements to the Nautilus file manager (case-insensitive path completion, Glycin-based thumbnail loading), a major Orca screen reader overhaul with global settings and a redesigned preferences window, and better display handling including HDR screen sharing and improved NVIDIA GPU support. Shell refinements add a power mode indicator, screen time controls, and privacy fixes. GTK 4 now renders SVGs natively, dropping the Librsvg dependency.
