I asked GPT to be my teacher for a side quest: becoming a 100x engineer. No AI. Just me drilling for a year. I set up a project, wrote the instructions, described how the journey should look. One hour a day. No work on Fridays. It generated a stupid generic plan. Went to Grok with the same brief. That one actually gave me something usable. I reported the output back and asked for Day 1. It ruined it. The amount of math was insane. My head exploded. I tried to correct it on how much math and physics to include and hit the limit. I hate the new version of Grok for that. So I handed the same assignment to Claude. I think it'll get this one right. Why not Gemini? It's already booked. A full year on something else, mostly Arabic, where it excels. I don't want to pollute that memory. First impression from all this: We were insane before AI. How did we write all those lines ourselves?
