# Google now lets you vibe code native Android apps in AI Studio

Google AI Studio now supports building native Android apps from text prompts, using Kotlin and Jetpack Compose, entirely in the browser with no installation required. The feature includes a built-in Android emulator, Android Debug Bridge support for testing on real devices, and direct integration with Google Play Console for uploading apps to internal testing tracks. Users can also download the generated code as a zip to continue development in Android Studio. Firebase integration is on the roadmap. This lowers the barrier for non-developers to create mobile apps that leverage native device features like GPS, Bluetooth, NFC, and sensors.
