Powered by client-side encryption (CSE), encrypted messages can now be composed and read natively in the Gmail mobile app without extra tools. Recipients outside Gmail can still access encrypted messages via a web browser. The feature is available to Google Workspace Enterprise Plus users with Assured Controls licenses after admins enable it via the Admin Console.
